Tom Fazio, world-renowned golf architect, designed large, undulating greens which support a variety of pin placements to satisfy the most demanding playing conditions on a golf course. Strategically situated sand bunkers dot the fairways and guard against errant approach shots onto the green while a frequent lake breeze adds to the challenge of having water hazards come into play on 14 separate holes. Sawmill Explorer Lake Erie Sunset Cruise
The "Dispatch" was built in 1954 in Sandusky, Ohio. For over 20 years, it ferried vacationers to Cedar Point from Sandusky's harbor. Fly Fishing
Walk the banks along winding streams shaded by lush willow trees. At a private trout club, guests are provided with fly rods, bait and instruction. The clubhouse, a renovated Goergian mansion, provides a lounge, dining room, snack food and beverages. Catch and release or a nominal cost per pound.

Sporting Clays
Sporting Clays is the closest activity to actual field shooting of all shotgun sports. The sport dates back to England in the early 1900's when trap shooting used live pigeons. With the introduction of clay targets, the sport began to take on the popular form known today. Sporting clay courses are designed to simulate the hunting of ducks, phe
asants and rabbits. Six different sizes of clay targets give the participant the experience of actual hunting conditions. We take your group to a State Certified Sporting Clay Course with a certified instructor. Walk the woods to thirteen stations with four shots at each station. Instruction and equipment provided. Bonfire/Hayride/Entertainment

Sheldon Marsh Nature Preserve
Adjacent to the Resort, this preserve and contiguous
wetlands comprise some of the last remaining undeveloped
stretches of shoreline in the Sandusky Bay region.
The main path through the woods, past the wetlands,
was the original automobile entrance to Cedar
Point Amusement Park in the early 1900's. Walk the
trail to the barrier beach for the spectacular view of Lake
Erie. This superlative mix of habitats provides for one

Lake Erie Island Tour
